Home for the Holidays

Here we are back at our home base in Florida. We were able to get two months in at Francis Marion N.F. with the second one being quite painful most of the time. I've had left hip problems for 2.5 years and have decided it's time to do the replacement. We arrived home on 12/1, dropped the trailer at a friends home for a few months and moved in with the daughter. I've had a coloscopy which turned out well. I'll see my heart doc the first of January and will have the replacement on the 9th of January. We'll spend 2.5 months here mending and then head back to Holly Springs in MS for the season. They pay $10 a day and I can use the buckos to pay for legal services regarding guardianship for Devyn. We have found a family we have known for a while who have agreed to be his guardians when the time comes that I can no longer handle him. As cool as he is I don't see that happening for some time but it's comforting to know he won't be going to a home.

Hosting Position #2

It seems as though things continue to look good for campground hosting. Oct. 3rd we will leave for Francis Marion N. F. in South Carolina for a 6 month stint at their OHV/Cycle trail Now to begin the search for next spring/summer.

MOVING - Finally

Just received the good news that we have been invited to be campground hosts at Holly Springs National Forest in northern Mississippi. We will be at the Chewalla Lake Campground for the season. When is it over? We'll find out when we get there. But at least the scenery will be different and we will have something to do. Definitely going to beat sitting in our trailer and not being able to afford to do anything. Hopefully we can save some buckos to be able to move on somewhere else when the time is up. All prayers gratefully accepted. We'll update here to let everyone know how it is going.
